BIMerge: Intelligent Web Platform for Digital Construction
BIMerge is SIDC’s flagship work-in-progress R&D programme, developed under a formal Research & Development Collaboration Agreement with AskBIM LLC (USA).
The current R&D phase represents a confirmed innovation investment of £60,000, structured over a 12-month delivery period. The extended BIMerge development roadmap is valued at £500,000, reflecting the full-scale platform build, advanced analytics integration, and Digital Twin deployment capability.
BIMerge is an intelligent web-based platform designed to bridge the persistent gap between planning intent, BIM-based design information, and site execution. It establishes a governed, bi-directional operational layer integrating:

- • Primavera P6 schedules
- • Common Data Environments (CDEs)
- • Site reality capture technologies
into a single, auditable source of truth.
By continuously aligning As-Planned, As-Built, and As-Actual information, BIMerge enables a transition from reactive, report-driven control to proactive, evidence-based decision-making — improving programme certainty, reducing rework, and strengthening construction performance transparency.
